Distance VS Displacement
What distance means in my own words is the total length amount of space between two things or people for
Example: I ran 100 meters home.
The distance will be: 100 meters
What displacement means in my own words is the moving of an object or a person from its starting position to the ending position.
Example: Jackson drove 5 meters west and another 3 meters west.
The displacement will be: 7 meters WEST
Make sure you always include the direction they moved.
An example I notice everyday using Distance is walking.

Metric Units
Three things that have the metric units in my home is the, Coconut Oil, Canada Dry Can, and a Pepsi bottle. The Coconut Oil has 414 milliliters. The Canada Dry Can has 221 milliliters and the Pepsi bottle has 2 litters. These 3 items are in metric units because they are the units of volume, and volume is the amount of space an object occupies. These are in Metric Units because it tells us how much we are consuming or how big/small the object is.

Estimating Distances
The length of my front house is 9 meters. I think this estimate is reasonable because it is 900 centimeters and on the looks of it it does look like 9 meters. The back of my house is a little bit bigger since the back of my house has more space. The length of the house should be smaller than the width. Estimating Distances doesn't have a right or wrong answer, estimating distances is just a roughly calculation.

Distracted Driving
Distracted Driving
Distracted Driving is not a good thing because you never know what will happen if you get distracted by someone or something either you might get into a car accident or worse. Also Distracted Driving is bad because you may get into a severe injury. When I was in a car the driver which was my brother, was distracted by his phone. He kept getting text messages from someone which seemed to me was very important to him since he looked very anxious. How I felt about it was scared and definitely not safe. Even though he is my brother and I'm suppose to feel safe around him well I wasn't. Being distracted while driving is not a good thing and isn't safe, you can get easily distracted while driving. You can easily get distracted by your phone, beverages or even passengers in the car.

Reaction Time Homework
Reaction Time Homework
Some things in your life you need to react to is when your driving. For example when you are in a car going 80 MPH and there is a child that just ran a cross the road you will need to react fast by hitting the breaks so that the child wont die. Another thing in your life you will need to react to quickly is when a ball is going straight towards you, you wont just stand there still you'll need to react quickly if you don't want to get hit. Finally a last reason where you'll need to react fast is when your playing any type of sport like baseball for example, when the pitcher throws the baseball the batter will need to react quickly so that the batter can hit the ball and make a home run. Reaction Time is a measure how quickly someone or something can respond/react to.
